The residential building was built on a narrow corner plot in the centre of socialist realist quarter development of the Mokotów district.
What became a key decision in the design process was the abandonment of the L plan, a standard typology in such a situation, in favour of an H plan layout. The composition axis links the entrance courtyard with the hall and garden interior designed along an existing tree line.
Minimizing the common circulation space, the plan layout proved rational, cost-effective and made it possible to take advantage of the spatial values of the location.
Characteristic three-section windows of the porte fenetre type lend a uniform expression to the elevations.
