The new Cultural Center and Town Hall fill the gaps in the buildings of the Piaseczno town center and form the western edge of the Książąt Mazowieckich Park. The urban side of the designed buildings is subdued with the lengths and heights of the façades of individual sections of the building corresponding to the scale and divisions of the neighboring buildings. The masses of the buildings have been broken into fragments of varying heights, descending in terraces towards the park, culminating in the stage tower. The various roof levels create a system of outdoor rooms and terraces, complementing the building's primary program.
Instead of an expensive building which is used on special occasions, we propose an open and flexible structure – a universal space for various cultural events. In addition to the building's primary purpose, the system of passageways, galleries, and outdoor rooms arranged along the city-park axis and climbing to the roof creates additional space for residents – an external cultural center.
The Town Hall is not a palace of power but a modest and comfortable administrative headquarters. The garden in front of the entrance does not serve to enhance the prestige of the office but is a park annex of Sierakowskiego Street – a space for residents.
