Competition for the design of a sports hall and the reconstruction of an athletics stadium in Warsaw.

The stadium and the hall are other elements of the urban sports campus being developed near Pole Mokotowskie Park.

We treated the sports facilities as elements of the park's landscape, augmenting the recreational areas of Pole Mokotowskie such as jogging and walking paths and places dedicated to picnics.

The geometric landforms forming the stands of the stadium and the auditorium of the arena are covered by delicate canopies. While maintaining similar architectural measures in expression, such a solution will preserve the historical value of the axial urban composition of the stadium open to the park, while giving the space a more casual character.

Thanks to aesthetic and spatial connections, the facilities will form a single complex - the Sports Park - open not only on competition days. The greenery surrounding the sports facilities will give the public participating in athletic competitions a constant sense of communion with nature.
