Hotel PURO Warszawa is located in the very centre of Warsaw, at Widok Street, which connects the so-called Eastern Side - the commercial centre of the city - with a frequented by tourists zone of Chmielna Street.
The milky-white front facade of the hotel with large glazing is intentionally devoid of chiaroscuro. It is visible mainly from the north and plays mostly with the contour and the precise rhythms of the facade panels. The glazed ground floor presents the interiors of the hall, restaurant and bar to the passers-by. The outline of the building plan was dictated by city regulations, which ordered to cover the space in one hundred per cent and back out its facades from the street frontage line. The eight-storey building houses 148 rooms, a restaurant, bar and conference rooms. On the top floor, there is a terrace with a view of the city centre and the Palace of Culture seen from a unique, pretty unknown perspective.
