The design is based four solids situated around a regular, extensive and slightly elevated internal courtyard. Four openings between the building solids are designed so as to ensure effective airing of the interior and to appropriately crop the “overlapping” elevations. Trees growing on the plot were a very important component. Some of them were incorporated in the courtyard space, appropriately forming the perimeter of the underground garage, while the rest found themselves within the external gardens allocated to the ground-floor flats. The flats on the upper floor have comfortable, glazed loggias. Also the elevations follow the same division pattern - the ground-floor windows have slightly different, more vertical proportions.
