Owing to its location (neighbourhood of an open multi-level parking garage and a railway line), the building was designed as a layout of three solids connected by glazed transparent links. The layout reflects the principle of opening up office spaces (as far as possible) to the interiors, i.e. to intimate green courtyards additionally shielded with delicate trees (birch, honey locust). The depth and thickness of the different wings have been diversified, obtaining dynamic massing and optimising office lighting conditions. The eastern and western ends of the office bays (the sides most exposed to horizontal sunlight) are fitted with a steel cable structure which supports climbing plants and serves a shading function.
