Generation Park

Generation Park is a complex of three office buildings located at Rondo Daszyńskiego in Warsaw's Wola district.

The urban composition situates the buildings in a quarter, so that their external, flat facades clearly build the frontages of the surrounding streets, and the internal facades direct inwards. The building line from the side of the roundabout has been withdrawn, creating space for a small square, whose frontages are formed by the facades of the high-rise dominant and the building closing the quarter from the side of ul. Łucka. While developing the square, the area of land was used to the maximum and all existing trees were adapted, between which a new generation of plantings was integrated.

The vertical perspectives of the interior are limited by a horizontal pergola meandering between the buildings. Underneath it, public spaces have been arranged to complement the ground floor functions, e.g. a children's play area, an area for working outdoors, and a catering area.

The complex was built with attention to ecological aspects and innovations. The facades of the buildings are designed with the efficient management of the energy balance. The surface of the glass fields was limited to a minimum, which allowed to reduce the impact of the external climate on the interior while maintaining the standard of internal spaces expected by users of modern office buildings.

The fifth elevation was the subject of special design analyses. Like the pergola, the roofs of the buildings are also overgrown with greenery. Thanks to the complete removal of plants from the roofs, only the colourful carpets of sedum are visible from the windows of the neighbouring office buildings.

An innovative material was used to build the surface around the complex – Tiocemet paving slabs, the properties of which allow the air to be purified of harmful compounds.

This is the first project in the history of our office, from the beginning (2013) and comprehensively implemented using BIM technology.
